1. Sign up for your fundraiser
Want to know how to start fundraising with Uplifting Promotions?
To get started, simply sign up for your fundraiser online. We'll send you a confirmation email with your group's Fundraiser Portal link. Reply and let us know everything looks good so we can get your custom printed order forms ready to go! You'll also have an option to activate and set up an online store add-on, where sellers would each receive a personal link to share with friends and family, who can then order and pay online.
Our fundraisers typically run for two weeks and you will earn up to 40% profit on every item sold. For more information on how to start fundraising, visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.
Sign Up2. Start Selling
We'll print custom order forms which you can pass out to your group. Sellers should contact friends and family and record orders on their order forms, and collect payment as they take orders. If you activated your online store add-on, sellers will also each receive a personal link to share with friends and family, who can then order and pay online. Just keep in mind that participants should only sell to people they can personally deliver to since our products can't be shipped.
Remember to set a goal - our research shows that groups who set a goal raise more money!
Sign Up3. Collect money and order forms
We'll help you select a date for your sellers to return their order forms and the money they've collected and it will be printed on your custom forms. This will be the final day of your fundraiser.
Sellers should collect money from their supporters while they are selling. Do not wait until the product is delivered to collect money from supporters. If you activate the online store add-on, those funds will automatically be collected when people place their orders.
Sign Up4. Submit your results online
Once your fundraiser is complete, you will enter your results on your custom Fundraiser Portal. If you activated your online store add-on, those orders will already be reflected in your portal.
Pro tip: You can start entering your orders as the order forms are turned in. You can save your entries and return to your Fundraiser Portal anytime to add on or edit as needed. When you think you have them all entered, you submit your order to us, though you can continue to update until one business day before delivery! We will email a copy of your invoice as soon as you submit your order, and send a revised version if you make changes. Payment will not be due until delivery! If you activated your online store add-on, the funds for online orders show up as a credit on your invoice. If you end up with more online than paper form orders, you may have a credit on your invoice in which case we will provide your group a check!
Sign Up5. Prepare for delivery
Prior to your delivery we'll send you an email reminding you of the delivery details. You'll have received your invoice after submitting totals, and payment is due at delivery in the form of group check, cashier's check, money order, or cash (no personal checks). If going through a school district, a copy or a purchase order is okay! If you activated your online store add-on, the funds for online orders show up as a credit on your invoice. If you end up with more online than paper form orders, you may have a credit on your invoice in which case we will provide your group a check!
We personally deliver and help sort your products by participant on your scheduled delivery day! This can be done in an outdoor setting and it's easy to incorporate a curbside pickup!
