When kept at 0° F or below, Butter Braid® pastries are at their best when consumed within 6 months. Packages recommend consuming within 6 weeks of receiving your order. While we have many consumers rave about product performance even after a year or more of storage, they may not rise as high with an extended length of time.

Wooden Spoon cookie dough can thaw and be re-frozen, and is recommended to be consumed within 6 weeks of opening. It can be stored frozen/unopened for up to a year from manufacture.

For Butter Braid® pastries and Wooden Spoon® cookie dough, simply go to our Products page, and click on the flavor icons for details.

We recommend sharing! A braided pastry is 22 oz (1 lb, 6 oz). Your pastry should serve eleven 2 oz slices, or twenty-two 1 oz slices.

Each 2.5lb package includes 40 convenient pre-portioned cubes that can go straight from freezer to oven!

Not at this time. It is best to take orders from friends and family you can personally delivery to, even when using the online store add-on.

Our free delivery (100-item minimum order in the Phoenix-metro area) will take place typically at least 1 week after you provide your order totals to us for pastries, and at least 3 weeks after totals for cookie dough. In addition to personally delivering your order to your location, we stay throughout the sorting process and help you break down each individual order. We provide boxes and bags for order breakdown, and we always have extra product on hand just in case. Our system is FAST and ORGANIZED. For every 500 items ordered, you can expect about 30 minutes of sorting time.

When we deliver, the Butter Braid pastries are COLD (about 20 below zero). The boxes and bags that we provide at sorting help insulate the product. Participants generally have about 3-4 hours from delivery to get their orders back in a freezer. Using a cooler can lengthen this time period. We also are able to lend freezer blankets to schools that have after-care programs when needed.

The out of freezer time for cookie dough deliveries is longer since the dough can be thawed and re-frozen. Participants should plan to have their orders in a refrigerator or freezer within 8 hours of delivery (as long as they are being stored at room temperature or below - if they are outdoors in the sun the time would be significantly reduced!

The products are delivered frozen and will stay that way for 2-3 hours after delivery depending on the weather.

By offering our products exclusively through fundraising, we're able to maintain superior quality and each customer is assured a fresh product. Limited availability is also important for driving demand for our fundraising groups.

We will arrive in our own delivery vehicle on the date and time selected. We will unload the products and sort them by seller. Please have tables and a few volunteers ready to help when we arrive.

Most groups sell for two weeks. We deliver pastries to the group at least 1 week after your order is submitted, and cookie dough at least 3 weeks after order submission.

We suggest that you collect payment when your customer places their order. This way you have all the money collected in advance and you won’t be stuck with any product that is not paid for.

Our minimum order for the Phoenix-metro area is only 100 items. We are flexible with smaller orders, often being able to offer delivery on a day/time when we are in your area, or offer pickup options.

Payment is due at the time of delivery.

Please have one check made out to Success N Fundraising for our portion of the sale.

Due to the fact that our products are frozen and must be shipped with dry ice, the shipping costs soon eat up your profit.

We would encourage your relatives that are coming from out of state that have ordered from you to bring a cooler, buy a little dry ice and take it back with them. The product will stay cold for several days provided you tape it shut and cover with a blanket. Butter Braid® pastries must be kept at 0 degrees or below so regular ice does not work.

Orders can be submitted through our secure online portal. You will receive a unique link that is specific to your fundraiser. We also offer offline order tabulators if necessary.

At this time, Butter Braid products are not sold in stores. Due to product mishandling while in store freezers, many consumers were let down when our product did not perform as expected. It was then that we decided to focus on our other market - fundraising.

In the fundraising market, we are able to maintain a greater degree of product quality through trained and qualified Butter Braid dealers, giving you a much better experience with our products. This also allows us to fulfill our mission of "helping others help themselves" by helping groups across the nation run successful, quality fundraisers by exclusively providing fundraising groups with outstanding products for over 15 years.

Butter Braid products have not been available in stores since 2002. As you may have seen, there are a few bread- and pastry-based imitations in stores and even in the fundraising market, but none have been successful in achieving our standards of quality in appearance, taste, reputation or service. We urge you to experience the Butter Braid difference for yourself!

Please visit the how to get more section on our product website for detailed information.

Please keep products frozen at all times until you are ready to use them. We recommend storage in a chest freezer at 0° F or below for optimal product longevity.

Butter Braid products are delivered frozen to fundraising groups. They will stay frozen for approximately 1-2 hours after delivery depending on temperature and other circumstances. Once the product starts to get soft, it must be put back into a freezer. If the Butter Braid product has started the rising process, (you will notice this if it starts to expand) it cannot be refrozen without affecting the performance of the product. There are no food safety issues if the product is re-frozen during the rising process; however, being a yeast-based product it will most likely not perform as expected when you go to prepare it.

Wooden Spoon product shelf life is 1 year from date of manufacture when kept at 0° F or below. We recommend that you use your Wooden Spoon products within 6 weeks of receiving it for best product performance.

If product is not used within the 6 month period, product performance may suffer due to aging of yeast. At this time there are no food safety concerns, just product performance concerns. Although we have had many consumers call and let us know how wonderfully their 1 or even 3 year old product performed, looked and tasted, we do not recommend this approach.

We recommend sharing! A braided pastry (with filling and icing) is 22 oz. in size or 1 lb 6 oz. The recommended serving size is a 2 oz. slice. Your braided pastry should serve eleven, each with a 2 oz. slice.

Each package of Wooden Spoon cookie dough contains 40, 1 oz. servings which is the same as 40, 1 oz. cookies when baked.

An average sized braided pastry after rising will be approximately 5 in. wide by 2.5 in. tall by 13 in. long. We have seen many larger than this and some smaller. It is highly dependent on the freezer storage conditions, room temperature in which the pastry is rising, etc. We recommend a room temperature of 70° F.

A frozen braided pastry, on average, is approximately 2 in. wide by 1 in. tall by 9.5 in. long. So, the size of your braided pastry will more than double in width and height at the end of the raising process!

Don't try for a world record here and let your pastry raise for too long! After a certain point in the raising process the yeast becomes so expanded that it will "fall" much like a rubber band that can no longer stretch. If that happens, it's nothing to worry about, you'll just have a flatter pastry than normal.

Generally, this isn't something most people have to worry about since they disappear rather quickly! However, in the case that you have some left over you may store them covered at room temperature for 2 to 3 days.

No, your cookie dough will round while baking. As the temperature heats up, the dough will start to spread like other cookies.

If you were surprised to see the purple icing of our blueberry pastry rolls or the orange icing of our orange rolls, there is nothing to worry about! The icings and glazes of all our rolls are specially made and flavored to add an even more unique experience to each bite of your roll. Instead of using one common icing, we made the choice to go above and beyond
